Built in 1903, The Century Theatre first served as the ballroom & gathering hall for the 20th Century Club, a group of civic-minded women who sought to enrich the lives and education of women in the city of Detroit. Today, the theatre has been restored and updated to a state-of-the art theatre and reception space for 60-250 people. NOW SHOWING

Initially launched in 2003, Comedy Works has played on the Century stage in regular theatrical runs and in one-night-only private and public performances. Such one-night-only events allow the cast to customize the show for a particular audience or need. Comedy Works is currently taking bookings in the Century Theatre for groups of 30 or more, or for private corporate events.
