Comedy Works, The Gem & Century Theatre's original improvised production can be whatever fits your organization, party, or group of friends needs. From a simple, one-act fully improvised show to original written material we can create a show that's perfect for your occasion!

The Basic Comedy Works Show

Two-Acts, 100-120 minutes

Act 1: Improv Games: Features games similar to those seen on "Who's Line Is It Anyway," and other impov shows.  Our actors will work to achieve a "goal" by using audience suggestions and their well-honed improv skills.

Act 2: Scenes: Features fully improvised scenes similar to the sketch comedy of Saturday Night Live or The Second City.  Based on a few, or several, audience suggestions our cast will create scenes, or short-plays right before your group - there's no script, it's all done as you see it!

Original Material

From our basic show, we can incorporate original material, ideas, concepts, or "volunteers" into the show as you like. Performance fees and pricing is dependant on the amount of original material required for a show.
